Been getting frustrated with the interface for iGTD, so last night I went looking for an alternate (non-web based) solution. I found Midnight Inbox while searching the Lifehacker archives, watched the screencast and decided to purchase. So far, I’ve been pretty happy.

Midnight Inbox helps you work smarter, not harder, by organizing your projects, email messages, files, contexts and tasks so that you can always be on top of your world. Users of Mac OS X Tiger will find its clean lines and elegant typography make it the best in its class for keeping lists and notes.

P.S. Sorry for the large gap in posts, will try to keep it more consistent.

I’m excited about it. Been looking for something cheap (free), easy to use that would bundle my work together.

I’ll use it for a while and let you know.

    Good find.

    hi,

could you comment on midnight inbox vs. igtd? i currently have both but haven’t gotten around to extensively using either enough to make any kind of informed decision on whether i want/need either, or whether ical and xpad suit me just fine.

    thanks.

Not that impressed with this app at all. It definitely shows promise, but the irony of an application about Getting Things Done is that they are clearly not getting anything done.

The support forum is a joke, I’m hearing all kinds of mutterings about how things are not being addressed. Plus the application that they are charging money for fails to meet basic requirements and is far too buggy.

Been looking at Things for a while now, and while it isn’t as detailed, it certainly seems to be getting the attention it deserves from both beta users and developers alike.
