Path Finder

Path Finder is a great alternative to the OS X finder. It’s got tabbed file browsing, a bread crumb interface, favorites, bookmarks and more. From the Path Finder website:

Path Finder is an innovative file browser and manager with powerful tools to make you more productive on Mac OS X.

Designed from the ground up for maximum speed and Mac OS X integration, Path Finder has a gorgeous, accessible interface that you can customize to your heart’s content.

Over 18 months of planning, design, and development have gone into our latest release, Path Finder 4. With nearly 100 improvements, new features, and other goodies, we think it’s the biggest upgrade of our award-winning file manager ever.

It’s a pay to play application, but the 35 dollar price tag is very reasonable for what you get.
